Ryan Martin

I was born in New Jersey.   My life was always surrounded by water.

Through the years, my connection with the sea deepened and became a large part of my inspiration.

My parents are both artistic but lived a different life. one of hard work and struggle.

For me, art feels necessary and natural. it has developed patiently.

I have been visiting Rincon since 1995 and moved here in 2004.

Living here has exposed me to a lifestyle that nurtures creative seeds and has allowed me to link my love for the ocean with my passion for capturing life through a lens.

Music has also been an undeniable force in my life.

I find much overlap from music to photography and They seem to feed each other.

More and more, I find joy in sharing moments of clarity. In the past, fear kept me from sharing.

I was scared to show myself, scared to be vulnerable.

Art helps me without saying a word.

It holds my hand and knows exactly when to let go.
